Philosophy
Bock Craft Metal is rooted in traditional fabrication and guided by a respect for material, proportion, and place.
Every piece begins as a drawing and is resolved through a hands-on approach with an emphasis on longevity and purpose. Our work is informed by formal training in fabrication and certified steel welding, combined with years of experience across architectural and sculptural applications.
We work fluidly with mixed media, incorporating metal, wood, glass, stone, electrical illumination, and sound where appropriate. This allows projects to extend beyond form alone, engaging light, shadow, depth, and spatial experience as integral elements of the design.
Our practice spans architectural metal, sculptural work, and public art. We regularly collaborate with architects, engineers, and municipalities on projects requiring durability, safety, and long-term public presence. Whether designing a gate, a site-specific sculpture, or a civic installation, we approach each project with the same care: clarity of form, integrity of construction, and attention to detail that endures over time.
We value restraint, collaboration, and work that speaks quietly through craftsmanship rather than excess.
